Hi. I've used your howto to flash 1.09 making my webcam (i guess it's Sonix) unusable on MSI Wind U100 (MS-N011). Tried everything, upgraded to 1.0G, tried everything again. No success. Any idea how to get webcam working again?

I used your method to upgrade my bios from 1.07 to 1.09 and it worked perfectly. This time I am trying to upgrade to 1.0G but I keep getting the

"'RUNFLASH' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."

error message. I also got it when I was trying to (unsuccessfully) upgrade to 1.0B.

I know that I am in the right folder and have used the dir command to list the file contents- the file is definitely there, yet it still won't work. Any advice?

the new bios 1.0G update, you can flash by using the same download link to flash it! just replace the 1.0B file with 1.0G.
importantly, dont forget to edit runflash.bat by changing the 1.0B to 1.0G. i'm using U100, just finished update, all update's well functioning.

HI, I followed instructions, however i was getting a blue screen and the computer was shutting down after installing new bios.The only way I was able to overcome this was by disabling onboard RAM, so now I only have 1 gig instead of 2 gig also now when I try to disable wifi the computer goes into hibernation and none of the function lights work.

I have a wind u100 with the latest bios 1.0B and SCM but speedstep still does not work. My CPU will not go below 1.6 no matter what I do. Turbo works, so I can go faster but I cannot go slower.

This is bad because the computer heats up so the fan goes on all of the time.

Any ideas?

I've got a Medion Akoya, with 2 gigs of ram running vista - so I got every possible problem while flashing the bios. I just followed your instructions - it worked great. Thanks a lot mate.
