Touchcharge for Netbooks

Touchcharge. A technology that lets gadgets charge by er... touch. Sounds simple enough and it is. Instead of fiddling around with pesky cables and connectors, you can now just throw your gadgets onto a docking platform and without the need for any cables you can have your shinies completely charged up. Late for work? Swipe your fully loaded electronics up and run out the door.

At the moment this tech is in early stage in terms of manufacture and widespread application although at EV we can see a screamingly obvious opportunity. NETBOOKS!!

Giz recently checked out a PS3 touchcharge kit and loved it (pic above). There was a snap on connector to enable touchcharge capability, but it was small and light enough to leave connected at all times. Awesome. A netbook manufacturer could easily implement this into the design of their upcoming nettys I'm sure!

C'mon Asus and MSI, hire me for more great money making ideas, I have a Marketing degree dammit... or you could just subscribe to EV and get them for free I suppose.
