In a move that's sure not to help the toy-like comparisons of most modern netbooks, the large toy retail chain Toys R Us are going to begin stocking Eee PCs. The toy giant will stock four variants of the Asus Eee PC 900 model.
This ties in with a large expansion of their Consumer Electronics segment, which also will see the retailer selling Apple iPods.
The Eees will be available in both Windows and Linux versions and all priced under USD300. Surpisingly the Windows versions are to come bundles with Office, while the Linux versions will come with Open Office pre-installed.
Expect to see a bit of promotion around this if you live in the states. Chalk another one up for Asus.
