There is a very fine line between affordable computing and junk and I think Dell just found where it is! I thought we had moved on from the 4GB Solid State Days with 512 Ram but oh no Dell is bringing back retro ultra-mobile computing.
This link here shows a USD349 Ubuntu OSd Dell Inspiron Mini with those specs and a 4 cell battery. With NO webcam - the 'Obsidian' Black looks like cheap crap even in the press shot and paying a premium for the 'Alpine' see-how-comes-out-in-the-wash White is a joke.
Sorry but this market offering looks crap and only noob-sumers will indulge I hope, just like most Dell products.
PLEASE DON"T BUY!
