Street Fighter Fever

This isn't UMPC related but I have always loved Street Fighter ever since my Mum banned me from playing Street Fighter II because of its violent content. Big mistake on her part - now I'm obsessed and even owned a 2P X-Arcade to relive my lost youth! Hopefully some viewers will find this interesting. The picture was taken on an iPhone and I'm posting this from my Wind if thats any consolation. Ok so I read somewhere on the interwebs that Crown Casino in Melbourne had a Street Fighter IV cabinet that they had imported from Japan. I went to investigate and Abracadabra Alakazam in true Casino fashion they had two! The cabinets are connected for link play, or each can play separate 1p versions of Street Fighter 4 and when one is playing the other shows the demo.

Wow it was fun! The graphics are great, it plays very fluidly, frame rate was awesome and the effects on the hits and fireballs are spectacular. I truly think this is the best SF since the VS series and if that doesn't count then since SSF2T. Well on my first credit ever and using Ryu I was able to get up to the third round with Seth. Unfortunately he took me out with a ridiculous unblockable Super so I wasn't able to see the ending (and I'm anti-continuing in 1P its like cheating!). I dropped a round to E Honda somewhere along the way but luckily he had a tendency to fly head first into my Hadoukens... I also had a guy come and challenge me with Dhalsim during my 1P endeavours - poor guy I perfected him in straight rounds with his best friend watching and laughing! To be fair I was in the zone.
